Today I'm doing my vacancy.com entry for a scholarship. It's for the apartment I found on their website. It was awesome because I've been looking an apartment for awhile both online and in the paper and any other resource I can but it was hard to locate anything. I found the one I want easy peasy. The apartment complex I hope to move into is the Ventana Ranch  apartments. It's by my old neighborhood which makes me very happy. I love the area, I've lived there for almost seven years and when my mom had us move to the other side of the city it saddened me a lot.

All my friends like Amber and Dulce live in that same area and whenever i go see them in that area I feel like I'm home. When I first moved over there it wasn't that way but over time it has grown to mean a lot to me. It hold all my best memories and the important ones that have made me the person I am today. I learned who I am there and who I want to be. I gained the confidence to show my true colors and never stray from my beliefs whether it was the cool thing or not.

Not only does the area hold sentimental value for me but it has all the essentials I need within walking distance. I do have a car I'm using but I'm not sure if I'll always have it or how long it'll work so I like that there are stores right down the street. I've walked to the local Wal-greens and it's not that bad, plus I'm going to be starting college and that is down the way in the opposite direction. This way I won't have to stress everyday about how I'm getting to class or if I'm going to be able to get groceries. I'm not one who loves walking but i like to think about the bright side, like with all that walking I'll be looking good when swim suit season finally comes around. (yes!)

The apartments themselves are very nice and most of all affordable. I won't be working a lot since I have class or with amazing pay so the fact that I can pay bills and still feed myself is amazing. I think one of the best features is the washing machine and dryer in the apartment. I've had to walk outside in the middle of winter and it isn't a pleasant thing to go out into the cold and sit with your laundry until it's done, not to mention the air conditioning. Hallelujah! My house right now doesn't have air conditioning or heating because it's an older brick house. In the summer we sweat like a sauna and in the winter we freeze under tons of blankets, next to space heaters. You never realize how much you take for granted until it isn't there anymore.

The numero uno reason besides all the practical, and logical reasons for loving the apartments are my friends who i think of as my family. When you have someone who says they're going to be there and proves it, you never want to let them go. My friends except every weird thing about me and often times join me in my weirdness. The apartments have an amazing green area that i want to have the picnic we all planned out and to go out in our strange anime costumes, make videos, have a good time and make more memories that will never be forgotten. In ten to fifteen years when we're older, have our life's hopefully all together and maybe some kids we'll tell them about our adventures while we sit together on holidays and weekends reminiscing.
